PSD to AWD Conversion?

Beitragvon Prosis » Mo Sep 29, 2008 8:58 pm

Hello

As many web developers and designers do, most of my files are in PSD and most with layers. I have recently changed to Artweaver because it's free, has all the things I needed from Photoshop and it's a lot lighter on the system. Congratulations for this project!

But now I'm faced with a problem of converting my layer-built PSD files to layer-built AWD. I don't mind changing from one format to the other as I think Artweaver will remain my tool of predicament. But I have over 100 files to convert to AWD (so that I can have layers).

Any way to do this? If not, is someone still working on a PSD plugin?

Thank you

You want to keep the layers intact? Not sure that you can, but maybe someone else knows better.

Not possible at the moment. I still have my hopes for newer version of AW with PSD/layers support. It was my favorite program for painting at some time, but i dropped it because of no layer support.

Does it include adjustment layers? Nevertheless, normal layers support is gold anyway!

No, only normal layers.

Dont get me wrong, I love this new feature, :) have tested it already and it seems to work.

However, I think that wont take layer modes in consideration. All layers are "normal", is this right?

Artweaver should also support layer modes (only if they are supported by Artweaver itself). Unsupported layer modes are set to normal.
