Photorealistic! That´s great. Pretty nice textures. I like those wrinkles!

Pretty good work!
Could you post some detailed pics of hair and wrinkles? Especially painting hair always drives me crazy...

Thanks for all the comments,it means a lot.
Chris not to sure what you mean about detail hair pictures?,but the way I did the hair was by painting each strand seperatley.

Using the air brush, set to broad wheel 40.size set to 2. and then changed the opacity to suit to work.

This is an old image and it began by using the chosen image ,in this case a photo, then usng a layer on top and using the pencil, just sketch the outline and position of the eye's , nose, and mouth.

Then saving the outline and re-opening it again in a single window.

then opening the photo in another window so you have them both side by side. The photo for reference.

Then using the pencil outline sketch as your base you hopefuly paint your image.By doing it this way I dont think you cheat its not like you cloned the image, because you still have to paint the detail yourself.

This is only the third painting of an animal I have done.I think painting a portrait of a female is going to harder.

If people whant I will do a W.I.P. to show how I go.This will be the first human I have ever tried to paint?

I also only use one layer, as I'm too lazy to learn how to use multiypull layers.

Hanzz you dont need any help from me,you are a terrific artist.Your work amazes me.Fantanstic

Just to say that I am starting the hair on the female and boy is it a pig to get right.

Hi!

I just wanted you to zoom into hair an wrinkles and post these images if the resolution of the original picture is sufficient for that.
Maybe you shouldn't waste your talent and your brilliant eye for colors on copying photos. Go out and create your own world. I'd love to see more...
:D

Thanks!
Oops, did you really paint every single hair? Very ruminant work...
How's your portrait going on?

Yes Chris I'm afraid I did,not being use to painting yet.and after I tried to cheat with my Gorrila painting,by using the acrilic brush, a large brush at that and a jitter rate of about eight.

It gave a reasonable look ,but not as good as I have with my O-tan.

I have made quite good progress with the portrait and will post soon

Thanks for your interest and if I can help just mail. Peggy
