Gif file saving

Hello

There is the problem when I save the GIF file (see attachment).

Steps:
1. Create the image with the transparent bg color
2. Draw any shape with the white (FFFFFF) color
3. Select File->Save As-> xxx.Gif
4. Check "Transparency" option. The image even on preview loose the white bg

This is not really a problem but more by design. Artweaver uses for GIF export a flattened copy of the current image. If there is transparency in the image, it will replaced with the current paper color.

In this case paper color and the shape have the same color (white) and thus the shape will disappear later when choosing transparency. But you can avoid this. Before exporting an image to GIF choose another paper color with Image -> Set Paper Color.

Anyway I will check if there are possibilities to detect such situations and avoid them without changing the paper color.
