Exporting in Jpeg/Editing Gif

Beitragvon Siral » Di Mai 05, 2009 5:44 am

Hello people, im quite new to using this program;

I'm currently having problems exporting images, I can export the images fine in pdf but I wish to have it directly be an image format like jpeg or something. Is it possible?

I am at a lost as to how use Export>Slices and not a single clue what Export>Nozzle is. Also is it possible to insert gif files in artweaver?
Im currently using 0.5.

Thanks in advance.

Hello, Siral
Fortunately Artweaver can export to more formats other than pdf  .
File >>> Save (or Save as, not Export)
Take a look as Save as type

Export slice is for web use.
To create guide lines:
View >>> New guide >>> Choose the right position for the new guide line >>> Enter the OK button.
Then Export >>> Slice.
These guide lines would "slice" your image into parts (which the program call "slices").
Choose the slice you want to export (or all slices) and you would see it in the exported html folder.

"Export >>> Nozzle" is a lovely function, which enables you to produce "image hose" quickly. For example, I have an image like this (which I've created using the this forum's emoticons :P :
[/img]

Export it as a nozzle file:

[/img]

Import the file back into the program:

And then I can paint using those nozzles:

Choose the recently created nozzles

Brush: Type>>>Image Hose

Do you also happen to know if gif files can be atleast inserted?

You can import it through File >>> Open

If you want to merge it with your artweaver file then select all >>> copy >>> paste into the artweaver file. The program would automatically create a new layer for the image.
