Never heard about artweaver until I found it on grandfiles.com. Amazing.

One thing I miss in almost all freeware paint programs (as in paint.net) is the capability to save BMP files in other resolutions, like 32, 24, 16-bits. In 16-bits, being able to choose R5G6B5 for instance. Always have to use photoshop for that.

Why this formats? Most graphics to Windows Mobile are encoded in BMP, 16-bit, R5G6B5.

At the moment Artweaver is limited to 24/32 bits and thus such formats are not supported.

Now that you have a paid version, do you plan to add this to the software?

The ability to save images in other color formats like 16bit are planned for one of the next major versions of Artweaver.

I have to agree with the OP - I have not been using the software long at all but I think I will go for the paid version soon

I had not come across the software until recently which is a shame becauseit is so good
